Talk us through your morning routine.
Mornings are my favourite time of the day. I always set my alarm a little earlier to have some time on my own and a cup of herbal tea before I get my son up for the day. I like to start my days with some kind of movement, and in the summer months, I’m usually strolling around my neighbourhood in London with a coffee.
How does your daily rhythm shift in the summertime?
I find summer, especially when I’m still in London, is actually much faster-paced. People are (including myself) coming out of hibernation. I spend much more time outdoors, and now I’m a mum, my life when I’m not working revolves a lot around Hyde Park.
Do you have a go-to summer uniform or signature piece/s you always return to?
My style in the summer is playful and adventurous. I’m much more drawn to colour and sequins etc—see-through too! But from day to day, some vintage denim or a pair of shorts, a good tank top, and sandals are my go-to.
Where do you like to hunt for vintage finds?
Portobello Road on a Friday morning always has some pretty good gems.
What are your most cherished spots in London for:
A morning espresso – I’m more of a latte girl... and you’ll find me at The Method most mornings grabbing my coffee.
A long, leisurely lunch – The River Cafe
A sunset aperitif – Canteen on Golborne Road
A spontaneous alfresco dinner – Essenza for easy pasta and a good Campari!
